MidWestOne Transition

A complete Transition Guide was mailed to clients the week of May 1. Please reference the Guide for additional account information and full disclosures.

What to expect May 31 to June 3

  • On Monday, June 3, 2019, your American Trust account will transition to the corresponding MidWestOne product listed in the Transition Guide.

  • No-fee ATM withdrawals at non–American Trust machines will end at 6:00 p.m. (CT) on Friday, May 31.

  • Continue to use your American Trust debit and credit cards as usual.

  • ScoreCard® rewards debit will no longer earn points beginning May 31, 2019. You will have the option to redeem your points or transfer them to a ScoreCard® rewards credit card. You have until July 31, 2019 to redeem your points. After July 31, your points will automatically transfer to a ScoreCard® rewards credit card if you have one.

What to expect July 12

  • On Friday, July 12 (there will be no July 15 statement for Reward and CashBack Checking accounts) a special conversion statement will be mailed for Reward and Cashback Checking and their companion Savings accounts. Accounts will qualify as usual. A special statement will be mailed on July 12 to all other personal checking and savings accounts. Interest will be paid and account service charges will be waived. These special
    statements will be printed and mailed regardless of your enrollment in online statements. In addition, to ensure clients transition smoothly to a new statement cycle, service charges will be waived for the first monthly statement cycle after July 12.

  • Print your online bill payment history if you desire.

What to Expect July 12-15 as our Systems and Bank Name Changes to MidWestOne.

  • All branches will be open for regular hours.

  • Beginning Monday, July 15, American Trust ATMs will operate as MidWestOne machines and may be unavailable for brief periods.

  • Full-service online and mobile banking will be available at 9:00 a.m. (CT) on Monday, July 15. Watch for communication the weekof July 8 on how to log in with MidWestOne for the first time.

  • Continue to use your American Trust debit card as usual.

  • Continue to use your American Trust credit card as usual.

  • Remove the American Trust app from your devices on July 15 and download the MidWestOne app.

  • Re-establish any alerts you had set up with American Trust through MidWestOne Bank online banking.

  • Confirm recurring payments or transfers and payees in Bill Pay.

  • Continue to use your American Trust checks until they are gone. When it is time to reorder, please contact your local bank office for assistance. If you order checks through another vendor, you must provide the new routing number, 073901233, when you place your next order after July 15, 2019.

  • Bill Pay and Recurring Payments and Transfers: Your American Trust payees and payments and transfer information will carry over to MidWestOne.Please check your payee and payment information for accuracy.

  • Telephone Transfers: You may access your account(s) by telephone at 319.354.7764 or 800.832.9322 using a touch-tone phone, your account numbers, and Personal Identification Number (PIN).
