Andrea Vegter
Fiduciary Trust Relationship Manager

As Fiduciary Trust Relationship Manager, Andrea is responsible for managing fiduciary accounts, including asset management, meeting investment objectives, and helping families meet financial goals. Andrea joined American Trust in 2012 after earning a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville in Platteville, Wisconsin. She is an active member of Dubuque Young Professionals, Tri-State Estate Planners, and Women’s Leadership Network of Dubuque.

Cathleen M. Colgan
Managing Director, Vice President

As Managing Director and Vice President of American Trust California, Cathleen is responsible for the management of the West Coast division of American Trust. She oversees trust administration, managed recordkeeping of assets, estate planning review for personal and business plans, financial management advice, bill-paying services, and estate administration during the probate process.

Cathleen joined American Trust California in 2004 and has more than 30 years of trust experience in the Bay Area. She has completed the Certified Financial Planning Program from the College for Financial Planning in Denver, Colorado, Trust Administration Levels I, II, and III at Cannon Financial Institute, Legal Assistant Studies at San Jose State, and numerous California Continuing Education of the Bar programs. Cathy serves on the Board Councils for Peninsula Estate Planning, Silicon Valley Planned Giving, Foothill De-Anza Planned Giving, El Camino Hospital Planned Giving, and on the Santa Clara University Law School Committee for the Jerry Kasner Estate Planning Symposium. She is a member of the Financial Planning Forum and served 13 years on the Board of the Palo Alto Area Chapter of the American Red Cross.
